ABOUT
Green Productions is a Sheffield based theatre company creating devised and part-devised movement and text based performances. The company was born in October of 2018 but the idea of it was conceived in the June of that year.
The company aims to bring a variety of works to Sheffield stages, including original, classical, contemporary and devised works. We are dedicated to producing a variety of shows and casting local actors and performers in our shows!
As all of the production team have a background in dance and/or physical theatre, we are very passionate about movement. We would not describe ourselves as a physical theatre or dance company, but we do introduce these two aspects into our work to create a different take on a scene of a play or to create a visually interesting sequence within a devised show.

KIERA RHODES
PRODUCER
In this role, I am in charge of all the behind the scenes malarkey and making sure everything runs smoothly in the run up to the show !
BACKSTAGE MANAGER
In this role, "I am in charge of all the behind the scenes malarkey and making sure every-thing runs smoothly" during tech week and throughout each performance!
CHOREOGRAPHER
I co-choreograph all the shows alongside Charmaine. My background is more Physical Theatre and Lyrical based with a bit of Jazz thrown in, so any of the more Physical Theatre dances are courtesy of moi!
DIRECTOR
Co-directing with Charmaine, I have done behind the scenes directing, such as cutting and writing the script, and blocking scenes before rehearsal, and in the moment directing, such as making blocking changes during rehearsal when I feel it would make a scene look better.
CHARMAINE LAMBERT
DIRECTOR
My job as a director requires me to block the script as well as ensure the actors feel confident in their characters and deliver the best performance they can.
CHOREOGRAPHER
As a choreographer, I devise and teach movement as well as making sure everyone is in time. Most of my experience is in Contemporary, Lyrical and Disco, so anything you see that is slow and/or a more 'classical' dance type is probably my work!
TREASURER
I also manage the money side of things, working out profits, payments and budgets. Currently this is an easy job, but I expect it to get much harder as the company grows along with our expenses and budget.
SECRETARY
I proof read emails and documents for Kiera and sometimes write and reply to emails when she cannot. This is a small role and could be done solely by Kiera alone, but as we are a small production team, it is nice to help each other out wherever possible.
AI NARAPOL
MARKETING MANAGER
I control the social media and make everything look pretty! I create all the graphics and promo for the company and our upcoming shows. Under this job title I also take photographs and create videos for the company.
PHOTOGRAPHER
As photographer of the company, I take professional looking candid photographs of rehearsals to promote the shows. I also take head shots of the cast in character for the posters and promo, and as themselves for the programmes for the shows and for cast spotlights on social media to keep our audience engaged and updated.
VIDEOGRAPHER
In this role, I film rehearsals and create professional looking short videos to promote the show and keep our audience up to date and interested. I also plan to film every performance of each show and amalgamate a finalised video for the cast to add to their portfolio and for the company to keep in our records.
